Our History
B. Nebbett & Son was established in 1970 by Brian Nebbett. The family business was passed from father to son and is expanding all the time. In September 2001 the company moved from the Western Road site, into a new 2 acre site on the Willow Lane Industrial Estate.
The original business has changed almost beyond recognition, as the emphasis has moved from the hire, collection and delivery of skips and containers, to the buying, selling and processing of non-ferrous metals and ferrous
B. Nebbett and Son has a policy of buying all metals, whether in large or small quantities for cash on delivery.
The recent relocation has allowed B. Nebbett & Son to branch out into other areas, such as the removal of redundant machinery using a lorry-mounted 5 tonne crane, and night-time scrap removal from facilities that cannot be accessed during daylight hours.We have also expanded greatly into endof life vehicles.
Recent high profile assignments have included the removal of the painting storage facility at the Tate Gallery, work on the Millennium Bridge Project, and regular visits to No. 10 Downing Street and the Labour Party Headquarters at Millbank.
